The books are personal views of people and whether or not these people know vampires in real life is highly doubtful. I believe Anne Rice's books chapter the essence of what it would feel like but remember, we are human. If we were vampire, then it would be best if we hid ourselves because our live depends on our secrecy. And also, you have no right to tell people what they should like and what they should dislike. I am proud to say I like Twilight, Underworld, Van Helsing, The Anne Rice Books, AND True Blood all at once. Why are people so insistent on one being better than the other? They're all vampire stories, they're all different from each other, and they are all awesome. Stop fighting now, because its annoying as hell.

this is totally bad advertising of vampires... the interviewee is fine but the focus is on a lunatic 'vampire' not a civilized one. Vampires are real, they do not all use blood as their medium to feed but they are real and civilized, but just like there are good and bad people there are good and bad vampires, but only the bad ones are ever in the publics eye... what a shame...

why i'm mad is cause everyone sudenly loves vamps, over a story thats no different then any other teen drama sappy love story, the cullens are a sad excuse for vampires - all the so called vamps in the book are.i'm tired of people telling me i don't know what vampires really are, everyone always yells at me for saying i don't like twilight. well i have legit reason. its nothing special, its a total copy job of any decent vamp story ever published, anyone with and vamp novel nolledge knows that.
