Im getting just a bit weary of this conception that Genesis are accepted as a great band, but not one of the greats. I had the misfortune of watching Genesis accept MOJO award recently, they were almost apologetic, making jokes about their awkwardness amongst noted talents Johnny Lyndon. Al Murray presenting the award to Genesis said Theyre not exactly Queen! The truth of course is that the band Genesis are blessed with a swirl of creativity that would stagger all comers!
