HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you dont know shit about ANYTHING!! HAHAHAHA "twin turbo sti!!!" HAHAHA I have a WRX and at 140 it feels as smooth as it does at 55. My WRX has about 260WHP and it smokes my buddies LS2 05 GTO. the only thing youve raced is a play station. "Twin turbo sti!" hahahahahaha.

This is such a load of crap. At 100+ MPH, the GTO feels like a bullet. However, the STi feels like a cheap golf cart being pushed by a rocket. It has no stability. I've done some street racing in the past, and I've seen twin- turbo STi's smoked by stock GTO's. The STi is just rubbish.

yea, at a dealership for a quick spin. Was going to buy it, but it was bought that day by another person. Its a great car personally I love the looks and I dont understand why it was discontinued. But one thing that I didnt like about the car was its visibility... you couldnt see shit except whats in front of you! It has a bad rear view mirror/view and poor side mirrors, almost made me clostophobic. Fun power & its good enough for me, but the reviews from professionals shouldnt be ignored

Have you ever even driven one?

too bad, i really liked the new GTO. I thought it would be the undercover agent: looks like a average car from the outside, but pack a big punch that would surprize you. Poor suspension, body roll, a shame Pontiac FAILED

It is good to see a non biased American review. Most American's dismiss the Impreza simply because it is Japanese. I love both cars, but the Impreza is the obvious choice for me.
As for the Australian / American GTO thing, the car was designed and built in Australia, but it was sold all over the world under a different badge. In Australia it was the Holden Monaro, In America it was the Pontiac GTO, in the UK it was the Vauxhall Monaro, and in the Middle East it was the Chevrolet Lumina Coupe. |
