Bo himself considered it ripping his music off, and didnt mind saying so. But you also have to keep in mind that Bo naver made any money and was ripped off constantly by managers, promoters, etc. He definately had a chip on his shoulder. Every time I saw him, he'd tell everyone after his first song that they needed to turn off their camcorders. Once somebody didnt turn theirs off and he basically threatened to kick him in the teeth!

That's true, by 1970 people thought the Doors and CCR had lost their relavancy, or were sell-outs too, even though both were still making some good music at that point. |
