You're right about that. You hardly see any real music singers like the ones you just mentioned any more. Alot of these singers sing off key or sing through their noses now a days. They don't sing out of their stomachs anymore. Most of these music singers now a days are just mass produced products like a Mcdonalds cheese burger.

rap may produce "sounds" but not music,and im not trying to put down it,its just in the old days you went into a studio,on the stands were sheet music,several musicians and you recorded.now days,you go to a studio,you have several keyboards,a midi board,and protools and an arist(rapper).theres no "soul" in it now days,its too sterle.the old days stuff was real,it had people behind it who belived in what they played,now its just to make a quick buck.

I don't care if there is more pop and rock on the radio right now. I, like many other people who knows what real music is don't listen to the radio because it is controlled by major companies like Soundscan and shit who only want you to hear what they "think" you want to hear. I listen to a lot of underground rap which is nothing like the bullshit rap you see on MTV or hear on the radio.

Samsarman, if you look up the word music in the Websters Dictionary you will see that rap is real music. Just read the first definition it has and that will prove it to you. On top of that rap music and dancing goes together like jelly and toast and it's just natural physics that you dance off of "music".
