I disagree. WoW took a create property such as Warcraft and then pretty much started to crap over it making it "generic fantasy MMO based on warcraft universe" instead of World of Warcraft. Besides there are other great MMOs right here that may not be massive hits like WoW, but are still fun, for instance, Warhammer Online and City of Heroes.

I never really complained about graphics. In fact, they are pretty good.
I said that the art direction of this game is awfully generic. How can they hope to bring people interested in this new MMO? I know they wanted to make a niche PvP game but it would be nice if they had the effort to deliver a new experience.

Graphics play a big role in games, no point in pretending they don't. This game looks like fucking shit I would rather play Runescape then this shit. Seriously why can't some other company just look at Blizzard and maybe just maybe learn a thing or two from them. WoW is the only decent mmorpg the rest is pure SHIT.

too bad they can't record the IP of all the whiners and ban them from even playing the game. 8 years of content creation and revision; this game is going to be amazing. There's a reason all the other MMORPGs sucked after the first generation.. they are all cookie cutter. This game will be amazing even just for the exploration of the giant land mass.

They need to work on the character design and work on the setting. Everthing seems generic. Also, some weapons look just -stupid- for instance, the "Metal fly trapper". Would it be too hard to make it a Mace? Looks cooler and less stupid. This game could be awesome, but it seems it will be just another generic MMO with a angry fanbase and intriguing gameplay. |
