well the weird musicians often go to foreign countries and get a lot of attention there, cause they're really arty and weird, but original personally I hate these people, cause they semm really arrogant in like a really subliminal way, hidden behind layers of modern art, which allows you to do whatever you like, as long as it's original

they do, but the music is not popular in other country's and sometimes the music is on Icelandic :)

It seems that Iceland has an endless number of these strange groups/artists, I'm thinking of Björk, Sigur Rós, Silvia Nátt and now this Ami(i)na.. :P That's kinda cool, but I wonder if Icelanders do any typical pop/rock music in Icelandic? Would be nice to hear some names to check out :)

Yep! Saw them in concert! A few years ago now. Would like to see them again, properly. Would also like to see Sigur Rós again, too.
