Marty,
I commend you for joining the Masons and Shriners. Also for giving them a plug on your video. We seldom see a commentary on the internet from one of our patients even though we have provided services for over 800,000 kids. Your story and many others need to be told in order to keep up the interest in the fraternity. I hope your Shrine career brings you to be Potentate some day, we need people like you.
Did any of the people commenting here use Shriners Hospitals?

I, too, have Arthrogryposis and I believe you have discovered the secret. You must make an active choice to go out and make your life extraordinary. You only have one lifetime to make a positive impact on those who get to know you. You have certainly done that. I now regret more than ever that I was unable to attend the convention in Ohio. Keep on truckin', you are a true inspiration!

Marty, I just wanted to drop you a note and say Thank You! Thank You for helping me understand the condition. When I see people like you I use to she away and feel sorry for them. Not anymore! You are an inspiration and I hope your story gets around. God bless you!
