Saw PB several times in the early '80s at the Half Moon in Putney. Just unbelievably brilliant live. He signed an album for me, and next gig he walked past me to the stage and said 'are you still here?' in a lovely playful way, in that beautiful voice. Unfortunately I was being squired by my brother-in-law of that time, but in my diverting daydreamy version we disappeared off after that gig into the night together and lived happily ever after. I can dream, and believe me I do (sigh);)

Literate appraisal of the bleak troublescape of the 80's. Educated at the same school as Heaney and the articulation shines through. magnificent
