I am from Berkeley, and I feel certain some people went there to riot, just like we get them here. But these raids are way too broad, especially confiscating laptops and cameras of jounalists. What were the reporters going to do, throw them at the cops? I hope someone has filed a Title 42 Section 1983 Federal Civil Rights lawsuit.

Why would they have molative cocktails in their house? That doesn't sound like a welcoming committee for the RNC...Sheesh. Don't you think the weapons they use are intimidation in protests? Your title should include the weapons also instead of being one sided and creeping on the police. There are people who demonstrate peacefully and then those that use violence to instigate unrest and more violence. Violence begets violence and it is justice we seek to create to obtain peace. Bullshit, I am a support of police and what they are suppose to stand for, but the conduct and the attitude of the police was both terroristic and an attack on the rights of the american citizen promised by the U.S. Constitution.
