JeffVoss, Well, I appreciate that! I think I was indeed thinking toooo lofty. Like when he said, "How is your mother? Ha ha!" But, I was mislead by his brilliance, and I was looking for more than a dirty joke. I love Tom! I think that there are many out there who will see more into that "joke" than what you said. I'm sorry to ruin your image of Tom Waits, but it's pretty clear to me he is referring to "ass" when he says "assets". When you say it's far beneath him, it makes me think you're putting him too high on a pedestal. Tom has outstanding songwriting ability, and he has an eccentric personality to say the least. This doesn't mean he is above making a dirty joke or thinking a sexual reference is funny, though.
