dude i dont think u get what hes saying. I counted 6 punts. thats about 2 or 3 too many. What hes saying is that for a punter to have a great game, he has to punt a lot. and the only way he can punt a lot is if the offense stalled. Yes, having a great punter puts you at an advantage, but who cares if your punter sucks if u score every posession.

Punters and Kickers are very underrated and underappreciated in college football. Field position is crucial in college football and 3 points can change a football game.

Agreed, that was a terrible punt. Actually it was a better performance by their special teams coverage putting pressure on the returner and making them drop it. Not really anything special by a punter.

a punter can be a serious weapon dude. Ever play the game?

The first punt was not a good one.He should be getting inside the twenty at least.

Not necessarily. In big time football, it is impossible for a team to kick a field goal or score a touchdown on every possession. Georgia Tech scored 30 points in this game. So their offense played quite good.

ah, if the punter is having a great game that means the offense isnt getting first downs.

Your comment makes no sense. It is GREAT for a football team when a punter has an outstanding game. Special teams is one of the most important parts of the game. You must not watch very much football. |
