Thanks heaps, I first learned how to make cloth nappies here on youtube and now I am going to make this sling, I went and bought all the material yesterday and watched this video again to make sure I am doing it right, thank you very much, very informative.

Wouldn't it be easier to sewn the pieces together before you fold and cut the "half-moon".

Sorry for the confusion - this video was originally made to be embedded in my sling-making blog. I put the fabric info in the "more info" section to the right. It says:
FYI - The beginning piece of fabric used here is 2 yards long and approx. 48" wide - this will make TWO pouch slings.

yes, I always wash my fabrics first in case any of them shrink.
