And that's precisely right, Vardo. I, too, am 29 years old, a lover of hip-hop, ambient, and post-rock music. But Tord's music is definitely on another level.

I discovered them about 3 years ago and they've been one of my all time favorites along with Evans and Dexter Gordon. Low tempo jazz rocks :)

Don't count me out, Fizm. I, too, am 29 and stumbling onto Tord Gustavsen's music has changed my life! And, yep, as vardo says, some people simply don't get it.

All 3 of their CDs are full of moments that are totally sublime. This is simply the sweetest stuff since the great Bill Evans.

Some of my favorite rock bands are Led Zeppelin, King's X & Clutch, so I'm not anti-rock, but I do stand by my philosophy that much of today's pop music is entertainment and not art. . .
You are correct: people don't get it.

ehhh!!!! I am 29 and absolutely
love this music... ;)
I hear rock , too!!!
It's not the music that desensitizes..
It's just that some people don't get it...
