This phone is for more GPS use than many other phones, I think that's going to be an argument for the price. And the price will fall after a couple of months.

Spelt 'nuviphone' wrong! :) Looking good so far, though obviously this version wasn't connected to the internet, so a huge chunk of the experience is unknown. Also, will it play Flash sites? And now iPhone 3G is $199, Nuvifone needs a big reason to ask $500 for this later release.
