I deal with the question by a viewer who like I was sick of eggs and bacon, and was looking for alternative breakfast items. My criteria for a good low carb breakfast is: * has to be quick to make * has to be easy to make * has to provide enough nutrition for morning activities and mid day exercise I also suggest the valuable step of prepping for breakfast the night or the week before by chopping the vegetables or cooking the meat beforehand to expand your options. With that in mind, there are countless options for the 5-minute or less breakfast meals. I highlight my favorite 5: * Taco or Fajita Salad * Low Carb Stir Fry * Sausage Broccoli Quiche * Upside Down Low Carb Pizza * Pancakes and Syrup

Black pudding in the UK is generally made with 'whole' barley and oatmeal. Whole grains should be fine for anyone not in induction, but best not have too much. It will be relatively low on the glycemic index scale, but eat too much and it will add to the total carbs.

Processed meats you have to read the labels. There could be anything in there, but ingredients label should tell you if it is legal or not. I have found some good sausages that are completely legal, but that is in the US of course. As for black pudding, it depends on what the filler is. Read the ingredients label or ask the butcher what is fills it with. Some are perfectly legal, but others have bread, oatmeal, etc. and obviously are not.

Hi from the UK. I heard that you have to be careful with eating sausages as they might be packed with stuff like bread etc, in other words, low in pure meat? Also, I love black pudding. Not sure if you have this over there but, do you know if this is OK on Atkins? Thanks and great videos.

No, you really can't over do eggs. You can eat up to a dozen or so per day Induction, which is more than I would ever be hungry for in a day.

Thanks for your vids ..they have been invaluable. I'm in induction. I enjoy eating eggs. Is it safe to have them for breakfast everyday?

If you go to Linda's Low Carb, she has a taco seasoning recipe there. It is basically Chili Powder, Paprika, Cumin, Cayenne Pepper Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder. I like to add chipotle chili powder to mine as well. I'll make a batch of it up and it'll last a month or so. About half of the commercial salsa are I-friendly -- just look for ones without ADDED sugar (tomatoes will have natural sugar in them so sugars on the nut facts is not unexpected). Just no sugar in the ingredients.

Hi Kent, where can i find taco seasoning? is it where the other seasonings are? Also im sure it is but just wanna make sure, but , is Salsa I-Friendly? I wanna try the taco salad that you listed. Im not tired of eggs cause im from the south and we dont get tired of eggs here! It's just that my mom said I should try and limit them. Im really enjoying my induction, its not bothering me at all, im loving it!!!!!! Thanks my friend ttyl. R5
