One of Mayweather's best performances in the Ring. Absolutely dominates N'dou by staying the in the pocket all night, punishing N'dou with power punches over and over. Also the defence displayed by Mayweather at the second half of round 5 is amazing.

floyd's defensive skills are amazing! look at his shoulder role and how he can pick off punches...just amazing. and all these little pricks saying floyd just runs, its because they don't know how to fight. did Ali just "run"? is that why Ali is considered the greatest? and LOL @ oscar comments. floyd would have beaten any version of oscar and his fight with floyd was ugly, oscar swinging like a wild man. defensence gets you the Ws

That's funny because people hate on Floyd on all boxing videos. & they use this excuse that Oscar beat him & clearly he didn't. I think haters are looking for someone they can say beat Floyd that didn't. PBF wasn't even hurt in the Oscar fight. Even the HBO commentator (Jim Lamply) said about Oscar "Fighting Mayweather is a dose of cold reality" & "Mayweather is opperating like a surgeon" come on people! PBF the best of our time hands down.

I agree that Floyd should of fought Miguel Cotto while he was undefeated and gave him his 1st 0. I don't agree that Cotto can beat him. To me Cotto is a better skilled Arturo Gatti, very strong & active in the ring but just lacks so much defense & would rather take a punch to give one. PBF would of took advantage of Cotto's weaknesses big time! There's no way in my opinion that Cotto could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr, just too much experience on PBF's side. If Oscar couldn't do it no way can M.C.

It is of my personal opinion that Floyd Jr. was great at 130, very good at 135, and good at 140.  At 147 he didn't accomplish much.  He was too small to fight real welterweights.  I can't blame him too, too much though.  Fights with Margarito, Cotto, and Paul Williams would have been very difficult. For some reason, I didn't really see Margarito beating him. Who i did see beating him was Cotto. I feel that Cotto's combinaiton of preasure and speed would have been enough to get a UD.

one thing ive always noticed about floyd is when hes on the attack his chin is very exposed

RAN? He was boxing! He was boxing Oscar's head in for the whole 2nd part of the fight. Oscar never hurt Floyd once in their match. I'm surprised they called it a slpit decision. He treated De La Hoya like a sparring partner.

This fight showed the greatness of Floyd Mayweather Jr! That kid is tough all around. I don't think no one from 130 to 147 could beat him. Possibly 154 but I think some of the guys there are too big & strong for Floyd. But all in all he is a special fighter & regardless of what people say or think he always puts on a spectacular performance.

Oh I forgot one more, Roberto Duran would have knocked him out.
longtalltexan63 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Carman Basillio would have beat the crap out of him. Salvador Sanchez would have beat him up. Aaron Pryor would have beat him up. Number two, he ain't pretty. He may think he is but he's not. Leonard in his prime....He would have beat Floyd up. Thomas Hearns, he would have knocked pretty boy out in six rounds.
