Good luck to the BRITISH Orthodox Church in its effort to convert the Irish. I think it'll need rebranding...

In spite of I'm Hungarian, and protestant, the orthodox religion is made my interest. Very relaxable to see the pitcures about these buildings. I proud to be Lutheran protestant, but this is beutifull, too.

The British Orthodox Church was originally established in 1866 when a Frenchman, Jules Ferrette, was consecrated as a bishop by the Syriac Orthodox Church with the purpose of re-establishing Orthodoxy to the West.

The British Orthodox Church is a small Oriental Orthodox jurisdiction, canonically part of the Coptic Patriarchate of Alexandria. Its mission is to the people of the British Isles, and though it is completely Orthodox in its faith and practice it remains British in its ethos. It is a missionary community seeking to promote Orthodoxy throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

"Yes but having an orthodox minority doesn't make the country orthodox. Otherwise, most countries in the world would qualify"
thats true but if the country was Orthodox in the first place it should be Orthodox e.g the patriach of Alexandria and Anitoch which is Syria and Egypt are Orthodox countries so it would be wrong to call them a Muslim country since it isnt but u can say that its now a more populated muslim country since the arab invasions but it was originally a Orthodox country.
