This is to the world, there have been many amazing changes to Jimi's memorial in Renton. I have met people there from around the world. The most awesome changes were made inside on the columns and benches. There are pics of Jimi, even with his guitar and many things he had written, all are engraved in Jimi's own hand writing. A few weeks ago I took some pics with my cell and sent themm to family & friends, they were WOW'ed!! Some changes on the outside to!!

Without drugs, we would've never had a Jimi, or many other legendary artist. It's a shame, but that's the way it is and always will be. It's awesome that some don't have to use drugs as 'lexo30 'pointed out. All I know is,, if I was fixing perform before 50,000+ people, I would need something other than a cup of coffee or a few joints.

Crap. Robert Fripp is a brilliant guitarist from the same era and he hardly ever did anything stronger than coffee. Frank Zappa never had more than a couple of joints, and was loudly anti-drug his whole career - amazing guitarist.

The all-time, absolute least interesting thing about Jimi Hendrix is that he died from choking on vomit. The second least interesting thing about him is that he did a lot of drugs. The most important thing about Hendrix is that he was the most inventive and expressive electric guitarist who has ever been put on record. Not the fastest, not the jazziest, not the heaviest, just the most creative.
