true, the cannon carter played on his 13th? black to open the last two reds was a very good shot. but lets not forget that excellent 13th black of ronnies on his maximum where he had no angle and still managed to break the reds up.

Ronnie's is always nice to watch because of his pace but Carter's was a lot more difficult to construct.Even though Ronnie potted a difficult first red, the rest of the reds were pretty much open.With Carter there was a cluster of 7 red in a tight bundle and had he not spotted the plant, it would have been end of break. Also position from blue to pink wasn't straight forward as the blue was in the balk area and a lot more room for error!

I started watching snooker only a few days ago and I'm already Ali Carter's fan... He did great here and I am sorry that he lost like that in the final (18-8).
And I don't think he is gay... |
