Interesting stat about Boyd, but how many does he score when it counts? 1 in 28 appearances against Celtic (including with Killie) and just a few in Europe. I hate to use your own argument, but Boyd is scoring for fun against the poorer defences. Nice debate though, I appreciate your love for your club and even though I'm not a Bear all fans respect Ally.

nice vid quality is poor though kept stuttering. ive been reading the arguments and im a rangers fan and i agree kris boyd is ultimate striker for goals but he doesnt score against celtic and he has never scored at hearts ground for rangers. when u look at McCoist and To be fair larsson, they were scoring against everyone even european teams which we dont see kris boyd doing.

Actually sorry about my mathematics but boyd has actually played 69 league games and scored 62 goals averaging 0.898 goals a game.

i don't disagree that Larsson is a better player than ally, but in my opinion ally played agaist better defenders in Scotland. But if u want to go by goal averages, Boyd is better than both off them, 51 league goals in 57 apperances, averaging 0.894 per game!!!! you tryin to tell me he's a better player than they 2? bottom line is the scottish is SHIT now and has been for the last 10 years!!!

Larsson did it in England, Spain, Europe(Celtic's all time top Euro Scorer) and at the 3 World cups. Scoring against some great defenders. Ally failed at Sunderland FFS! And his Scotland record is average. Larsson faced Amoruso, Hendry, Van Bronkhorst, Reyna, Albertz, Craig Moore,Gazza, Laudrup, etc in Scotland. were they all tits too? Because he hit 15 against Rangers in 6 seasons. Ask anyone who knows football who was the better player and 9 out of 10 (non biased) folk will say Larsson.

You have to remember rathdeort that scottish football was absoulute joke when Larsson was at the Celts and is still a joke. When Mccoist was playin he was against defenders off much more quality such as Alex Mcleish, Dave Mcpherson, Roy Aitken, Willie miller and many many others. When Larsson was in Scotland he was playin against players such as Steven Pressley, Zander Diamond, Lee wilkie, HMM no comparison really between 2 different eras is there? People will always look at the facts.

Only Pele or Gerd Muller was better than McCoist? I'll have a pint of what your drinking. Even true blues recognise Ally was a good penalty box player but average outside the 18. I take it you've Heard of Ronaldinhio, Henry, Kaka Cruyff, Maradona, Shearer, Ronaldo,Dalglish, Rush, Law, Charlton, Best, etc, etc, etc? All scoring their goals in better leagues than Ally did. Even in Scottish terms he's miles behind Jimmy McGrory. Get real & don't embarrass yourself with the bigoted shit either.

Maddavie, get the blue tinted specs off. McCoist was good but Larsson's stats don't lie. Consider Ally's 251 league goals for Rangers in 418 games: Average 0.6 goals per game. Larsson : 174 League goals in 221 games: Average 0.789 per game! Also who scored in 3 world cups, 2 European Championships, played for Barcelona, Man Utd & won the Champions league? You'd also have to say Larsson was a better all round team playes as Ally was an old fashioned poacher. No disrespect to Ally, just facts.

i love rangers as well mccoist may have been a better goalscorer.but rangers fans have told me larsson had more ablity and was the better player.ect rooney is no where near as good a goalscorer as ally but mccoist had no where near rooneys ablity.mccoist isa legend at rangers but and wasa great servent for rangers. |
