they said they are going to invent these flying insects or robots,in the military,that will act like surveillance. Looks like these are it.

I say its propaganda till one is actually caught and even then the question begs.. is it normal evolution or man made?.

Why don't we catch one and examine it? If they're there, they're there, right? I've been seeing pictures of these things for years. I'd like to see one up close. Maybe they are micro UFO's. Lets be open to "Other" possibilities. You never know......

The fastest insect in the world(dragonfly) has a maximum speed of 60mph. These rod things fly up to 100mph.

GGL09, The illusion of a rod being very large and or fast moving is explained by the fly-by of a small object close to the lens. If we do not know the precise distance and speed of the objects in question, we cannot accurately assert the size or speed of the object.

Check out the YouTube video, "Mystery of the rods" All is explained. The rod effect can be reproduced using a video camera, and can be duplicated in a repeatable scientific manner by anyone. Low light conditions in particular are contributing factors. Any objects rapid movement across the video sensors field of view will elongate as the frame rate of the camera cannot capture a clear image, the resulting sequence will show the classic rod phenomenon. Insects can look like Rods.
