You seem to have very poor knowledge of football. As far as I know, Gerrard is the heartbeat of everything Liverpool do, and Lampard was voted 2nd in the FIFA Player of the Year poll in 2005, and it wasn't onlt he goals, it was beacuse he is the main creator of Chelsea's attacks, and more amazing than that, he often finishes them eswell.

so the most goals makes the most 'magic', huh? you neglect to mention how nearly everything United ever did in the Cantona years went throug him; he made goals, he scored goals, he glided by people without ever seeming to have moved. Gerrard and Lampard? Haha. i agree that there have been players who've left as great or greater memories on the game but jeez, you could've at least picked players who were or are similar in style to Cantona.

There is no denying that Eric Cantona is one of the legends of world football. But lets face it there are so many other players who are just as good and even better than him but for some reason they are not given the same credit as King Eric. Steve Gerrard and Frank Lampard are two examples, they are both in the same league as Cantona, they both have the same amount of magic as him and if anything, Lampard has scored more goals than Cantona and still has a good few years left in him.
