yes you are right, but that's not the point cche16 was trying to get across... I guess it could kind of seem that way because it's hard to interpret the exact expressions and everything through writing. I love that ellen had Joshua perform.. he's amazing!

In August 2008, Joshua performed the song, Today on the Ellen DeGeneres show after the talk show host met him at a charity event that past weekend. Along with her wife Portia, Ellen would later ask Joshua Radin to perform "Today" at the couples wedding. The couple had reportedly turned down song offers from George Michael and Justin Timberlake, and went for Joshua instead[4], who later also performed the song, at the The Ellen DeGeneres Show. That's crazy!

WHERE CAN I FIND THIS SONG! iv been searching for weeks! its not on itunes! i love this song so much and i gotta have it! This song is so well played in both versions and all of joshua radin's songs are amazing!
