Well, Nat Geo is a channel wich shows general culture around the world. And Starcraft for example in my country is just a game. But in Korea seems to be like popular culture even to the size of a country's top 5 or 3 sports. In a way is culture and that's why i think they decided it had (and has) enough size on importance to be made documentary. And why not Magic T.G. also, or Warhammer and that kind of games. They are the new kind of games like it is for example Chess.

i don't find it bad just a bit amusing because when I think nat geo I think like archaeology digs or documents on extinct animals or about ancient cultures, still gives me hope that someday they'll do a documentary on magic the gathering

"why waste your time here when you could do something yourself."
Youtube is something I spend 15 minutes on at my leisure. We all need some fun now and again. My argument wasn't against those who don't purpose 100% of their time for the betterment of humanity. It is very 19th century of you to deal with absolutes anyways.

I didn't mean saving the world literally, but if you're so concerned about making the world a better place, why waste your time here when you could do something yourself. |
