I agree, I voted Obama but I feel this was one of his unfair claims. However, I feel the other side of the aisle had a lot worse.

very true, and the solution would be to lower taxes on that top 1%, otherwise we would be a socialistic/communistic state which is obviously corrupt and would lead to us being a third world country. (blatant sarcasm)

50% of people make $35,000 per yr or less.. the top 1% of the population's wealth exceeds the lower 50% the percentage of wealth held by the top 1% is greater now than it was before the great depression and growing. very detrimental for an economy.
