way too little, way too late.
Don't worry, UAW, the top execs have golden parachutes, they will be just fine.

wow. over 1 million jobs resting on the hopes of this piece of shit. for gm's sake, i really hope toyota doesn't beat them to market with their all electric car.

In 2010 gas will go up again. It is GM scheme to sell more cars. Remember to bring your extension cord (maybe 10000 ft) when you say at a hotel. good luck.

It's exactly what they should be doing. Supply and demand.
Not everyone's a tree-hugger, sorry.

...if we plug this car in wont we be using more coal??? or w/e power supply were on?
and realistically no one i know looks like they can afford this. it wont be till 2020 or even later until the masses get green vehicles.
Gm makes the hummer and other suvs, they actually were opposed to making fuel efficient vehicles and thats a main reason their sales have slumped over the past year.

Why? 2010?
captpan6 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
We'll just have to wait and see.

Toyota sold the RAV4-EV, why was GM afraid to sell the EV1???
The real reason, GM is STILL KILLING THE ELECTRIC CAR, still lying, still a sham.
liveoilfree (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Actually, wage labor is less than 5% of GM's revenue.
Chilldogg (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
GM could have dominated the EV world if they had not killed the electric car in the 90's. Now they're playing catch up. |
