holy shit. 160mph on a naked bike?? Whats the wind protection like on the fz6? I have a restricted sv650 and i'm interested in the fz6 once i get my de-restricted license. Restricted to only 100mph a the moment (33bhp)

97HP at engine, and like you said, 89 (or less) on the wheel. My fz1 is 150HP on engine but only 130 rear wheel HP. Dynos do rear wheel power they dont gouge the engine (factory) HP

I recommend searching google for that. I was told the difference in the engine is the camshaft..but I also was told that the benefits of swapping the r6 camshaft into the fz6 are not worth the effort.. Of course Esthetically speaking the bikes are quite different. The fz6 looks more like a naked r1 than an r6. still all very different bikes though

I nearly managed to hit the limiter at 160 MPH (257 kph) on stock. Had to brake for someone who cut me off. FZS-6's are supposed to be rated at 100 HP, but mine dyno'd at 89. I have a 2006. Same for the one in the video? I think they changed the display in 2007.

add powercomander, open to 98 hp and you ll get around 30 kph more
