With all due respect, what are you people hearing that I am not? To my ears she sounds like a human player piano. Truly the dictionary definiton of 'ham-handed.' Wind her up and off she goes, with all the subtlety of a bull in a china shop.

To think she started on this show when she was just 20, back in 1960.

Hello

JoAnn stared with Lawrence Welk @ age 19,playing both piano and accordian showcases. I get exhausted just watching her tickle them thar ivories in this installment! LOL!
A masterful entertainer...they don't come any better than JoAnn when it comes to ticklin' them thar 88s.:)
Peace,
Max

Absolutely. Honky-tonk is just one of many styles of ragtime. You're as likely to hear someone play like this at a ragtime festival as you are to hear someone playing "classic ragtime". |
