This is my absolute favorite Steely Dan song and is one of the best songs ever recorded. At is a once in a lifetime classic masterpiece. SD is the personification of musical genius.

Back in 1987 I was working as a messenger for a title company. I remember being in the company truck and hearing this song for the first time. My eyes and ears were opened and I became so drunk in love with this song. I can't get enough of it!

Aja is one of my top 5 albums of all time, along with Pink Floyd's The Wall, Dark Side..., Talking heads' Fear of Music, and the Cure's Disintegration. Seems a weird fit, but I know this to be true. |
