That youngster playing the guitar looks a lot like an an early Jorma Kaukonen. Could it be??? 12th St and Vine no longer exists except for a street sign placed in the approx. location by good old Ollie Gates...I think one of the original street signs signs is in Rev. E. Cleaver's backyard.

This is a real gem of a video,I am particularly intriqued by the fluid movements of his wrists. Great hands/right foot co-ordination, obviously talented. Hard to beleive he was a one hit wonder, simply amazing !

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there two versions of this song? I think there is one line that's changed: Ver 1- "They got some crazy little women there and I'm gonna get me one" Ver 2-"They got a crazy way of living there and I'm gonna get me some" Or did I just imagine this second line?

The movie theater I went to as a kid played a lot of songs before the movies started, and this was always one of them.
