i concur! it just burns me up when the word "perm" is used instead of "relaxer" or "retouch". i guess "we" want to identify with other races so bad that we lose sight as to whats real.

yes it is arelxer the word perm was adoped over the yrs so yes you are correct most salons know what your asking for when you come in and yes a perm is when hair is changed to curly but most know what your talking about we/you did not fall off a potato truck hit our heads but the word perm is used because the hair has changed from what it was either straight or curly to a permenent state until different so its a fast way to say "im getting a perm/relaxer" same thought dif process. |
