They probably felt they had to up their game in recent years because of the major popularity increase due to guitar hero. I'm sure they are probably better now. Another reason I stopped listening to them was when inhuman rampage came out, I found for the most part their songs sounded too similar.

4 years is quite a while ago, they are a lot better nowadays. I do agree that they were rather rough a few years back but their recent shows in the last couple of years I have really enjoyed them.
They had to up their game at the concert a month or so back that I saw due to the fact that the support Turisas were brilliant.
