Dude, even as a fan of COF, I have to disagree with you. COF is good, but Dani's vocals suck a big fat dick. Picking a best vocalist is hard but off the top of my head, better death metal vocalists include George Fisher, Jeff Walker, Barney Greenway ...actually, most vocalists are better than Dani Filth.

I recall a British Metal magazine where ONE journalist disagreed with the general opinon that John Tardy had the best Death Metal growl (circa 1991 aprox) by saying at times he sounded like someone thowing up! Obituary are a GREAT band and the vocalist is GOOD but at certain time I can hear the sound of "heaving vomit" - though I never noticed until said music journo pointed it out. Still one of the best Death Metal vocalists in my view regardless.
